Charissa Schwartz is more than excited to be at Camp Sabra for her very first time! She is from Lebanon, Missouri, and attends Florida Southern College, where she double-majors in Business Administration and Political Economy. Charissa is looking forward to be a much more observant and skilled photographer after this summer, as well as take home many tremendous experiences with her campers.
Elissa Bamberger loves to hike and rock climb, as well as play rugby for her school, and is ready to return to Camp Sabra for her 2nd summer. She attends Lake Forest College, where she majors in Environmental Studies and History, and she loves to go on adventures on the peninsula. Elissa hopes to gain a close connection with her campers and become someone that they can look up to.
Though her sister has been coming to Camp Sabra for a couple years, Sophia Chelist is stepping foot on the peninsula for the very first time this summer! She is from St Louis and attends Parkway Central High school, where she loves to play soccer, tennis and hang out with her friends. Sophia loves the excitement of everyone here, and she hopes to gain leadership skills, new friends and make an impact on all of her campers.
A lover of watermelon and the outdoors, Julia Brodkey is overjoyed to return to Sabra for hr 9th summer! She is from Omaha and attends Westside High School, where she is a member of the show choir and loves to spend time with her friends. Julia’s favorite thing about Camp Sabra is literally everything, and she hopes to gain responsibility and to help her campers have the best summer ever.
Lexie Herman loves the outdoors and chilling outside, and she can’t wait to do the same at Camp Sabra for the very first time! She is from Kansas City and will be attending Tulane University in the fall to major in Political Science and Communications. Lexie is excited to meet her campers and spend an amazing summer with them, as well as gain more leadership skills in the process.
Cameron Nadler has 20 plants in her room and loves to tend to them, and she can’t wait to tend to children this summer for her 9th year at Camp Sabra! She will be attending the University of Minnesota in the fall as a Nursing major, and her favorite thing about camp is the Ski Dock. Cameron can’t wait to relax and reflect this summer, as well as make countless memories with every person possible.
A huge fan of the Office and Riverdale, Olivia Siegel can’t wait to return to Camp Sabra for the 8th time! She is from St Louis and attends Parkway West High School, where she loves to shop, run and swim. Olivia’s favorite thing about Sabra is how respectful and kind everyone is, as the people can brighten her day by just seeing them. She hopes that the kids will grow to like her and see her as a kind, respectful and responsible adult.
A big fan of the “Shoot” dance that’s taking over Camp Sabra and occasionally hits the “Nae Nae,” Sophie Bell is more than excited to return to camp for her 6th summer! She is from Kansas City, where she attends Blue Valley High School and participates in cheerleading and track. Sophie’s favorite thing about Camp Sabra is making her best friends from all over the country, and she is most excited to meet all of the campers and gain new friends and experiences.
Sydney Hahn claims to know every lyric to every single Justin Bieber song, and she can’t wait to get started in her very first year at Sabra! She is from Denver, Colorado, and goes to the University of Missouri where she majors in Journalism and loves to hang out with friends and explore new restaurants and the outdoors. Sydney loves the outdoor activities here, and she is most excited to meet and lead all of her kids and gain a new understanding about jewish culture.
Ayelet Yogev can count to 10 in seven different languages, and is more than excited to come to Camp Sabra for the very first time! Ayelet is from Israel, and attended Technion Institute of Technology in Haifa where she studied Electrical Engineering. Her favorite thing about camp is the beautiful landscapes and views, and she is most excited for meeting the kids and creating her own little family.
Ashley Herman loves music, hanging out with friends, and is a professional napper, but she is excited to work this summer at Camp Sabra for her 10th time on the peninsula. She is from St Louis and attends Parkway Central High School, and her favorite thing about camp is creating new memories. Ashley can’t wait to meet new people, especially her campers.
Brette Gershenson is a big fan of lacrosse and BBYO, and is an even bigger fan of Camp Sabra, where she will return for her 8th summer! She is from St Louis and attends Parkway Central High School, where she loves to play sports and spend time outside. Brette can’t wait to see all of her friends and to get closer with everyone around her, and she is ready to build strong relationships with campers and counselors.
Caroline Mullikin was a member in the Million Dollar Band color guard and weapon line for two years, and is excited to be at Camp Sabra for the very first time! She is from Alabama and attends the University of Alabama, where she majors in Multiple Abilities Program, a special elementary education program. Caroline is so excited to work in Arts and Crafts and gain more experience with children.
Frankie Rothschild just loves being happy and having a good time, and she’s in her happy place this summer at Sabra for the 10th time! She will be attending Indiana University this fall, hoping to major in management. Frankie can’t wait to eat pounds and pounds of grilled cheese, and she hopes to spread a bunch of enthusiasm and happiness to all of her campers.
Suzy Myers loves to sing, hang with her friends, eat and shop, and she also loves Camp Sabra, returning for her 9th summer! She is from St Louis, just graduated from Parkway Central and will be attending Bradley University in the fall. Suzy loves camp because she is surrounded by friends, and she hopes to learn more about patience and leadership, which will help her in college.
Sydney Bennett is more than excited to return to Camp Sabra for her 8th year on the peninsula. She is from Dallas, and attends JJ Pearce High School, where she participates in dance. Sydney loves Camp Sabra for all of the friends she has made, and she is ready to meet new people and make a whole lot of memories this summer.
Sydney Lefton is a professional Camp Sabra dancer, and she’s excited to show off her enthusiasm and positivity as the Assistant Sharone Unit Head! She is from St Louis, and goes to school at Tulane majoring in Psychology and Early Childhood Education. Sydney’s favorite thing about Camp Sabra is spending time with her friends and campers, and she can’t wait to gain more leadership experience and a lot of new friends.
Talya Cohen can play 5 instruments, she’s been to more countries than she has been to different states in the US, and is pumped to return to Camp Sabra for her 3rd summer. She goes to the University of Missouri, where she is a journalism major. Talya’s favorite part about camp is all of the people, kids and staff alike, and she’s most excited to work at the ski dock!
Daria Rosenbluth is another identical twin on the peninsula, a vegetarian and dog lover, and is spending her very first summer at Camp Sabra! She is from Missouri and attends the Fulton School, and loves to relax, run, and watch the Real Housewives in her free time. Daria is excited to have her own campers, as she always looked up to hers when she was younger, and she hopes to gain more independence throughout the summer.
Eve Baliff will be taking a gap year this fall in Israel before she goes off to college, but is stopping in Rocky Mount for the summer to be at Camp Sabra for her 6th year! She is from Houston, Texas, and plans on going to the University of Maryland to major in Criminology and Criminal Justice. Eve hopes to ensure that her campers have an amazing summer and learn more about themselves in the process.
Hannah Caplan has never lost a game of Yahtzee in her life, and she hopes to show off her board game skills during her 9th summer at camp. She will be going to Northwestern this fall, and she loves making a warm brisket and singing during song sessions. She can’t wait to make more friends this summer, and she really hopes to learn how to use a fork properly during her time at camp.
Jackie Bodzy is overjoyed to be back at Camp Sabra for her 4th summer! She is from Dallas, and attends JJ Pearce High School, where she loves to play soccer, swim, and hang out with her friends. Jackie’s favorite thing about camp is meeting new people, and she can’t wait to give her campers great memories and an absolute blast for an entire month.
