​Charissa Schwartz is more than excited to be at Camp Sabra for her very first time! She is from Lebanon, Missouri, and attends Florida Southern College, where she double-majors in Business Administration and Political Economy. Charissa is looking forward to be a much more observant and skilled photographer after this summer, as well as take home many tremendous experiences with her campers.

Elissa Bamberger loves to hike and rock climb, as well as play rugby for her school, and is ready to return to Camp Sabra for her 2nd summer. She attends Lake Forest College, where she majors in Environmental Studies and History, and she loves to go on adventures on the peninsula. Elissa hopes to gain a close connection with her campers and become someone that they can look up to.

Though her sister has been coming to Camp Sabra for a couple years, Sophia Chelist is stepping foot on the peninsula for the very first time this summer! She is from St Louis and attends Parkway Central High school, where she loves to play soccer, tennis and hang out with her friends. Sophia loves the excitement of everyone here, and she hopes to gain leadership skills, new friends and make an impact on all of her campers.

She is from Omaha and attends Westside High School, where she is a member of the show choir and loves to spend time with her friends. Julia’s favorite thing about Camp Sabra is literally everything, and she hopes to gain responsibility and to help her campers have the best summer ever.

Lexie Herman loves the outdoors and chilling outside, and she can’t wait to do the same at Camp Sabra for the very first time! She is from Kansas City and will be attending Tulane University in the fall to major in Political Science and Communications. Lexie is excited to meet her campers and spend an amazing summer with them, as well as gain more leadership skills in the process.

Cameron Nadler has 20 plants in her room and loves to tend to them, and she can’t wait to tend to children this summer for her 9th year at Camp Sabra! She will be attending the University of Minnesota in the fall as a Nursing major, and her favorite thing about camp is the Ski Dock. Cameron can’t wait to relax and reflect this summer, as well as make countless memories with every person possible.

A huge fan of the Office and Riverdale, Olivia Siegel can’t wait to return to Camp Sabra for the 8th time! She is from St Louis and attends Parkway West High School, where she loves to shop, run and swim. Olivia’s favorite thing about Sabra is how respectful and kind everyone is, as the people can brighten her day by just seeing them. She hopes that the kids will grow to like her and see her as a kind, respectful and responsible adult.

She is from Kansas City, where she attends Blue Valley High School and participates in cheerleading and track. She is from Denver, Colorado, and goes to the University of Missouri where she majors in Journalism and loves to hang out with friends and explore new restaurants and the outdoors. Sydney loves the outdoor activities here, and she is most excited to meet and lead all of her kids and gain a new understanding about jewish culture.

Ayelet Yogev can count to 10 in seven different languages, and is more than excited to come to Camp Sabra for the very first time! Ayelet is from Israel, and attended Technion Institute of Technology in Haifa where she studied Electrical Engineering. Her favorite thing about camp is the beautiful landscapes and views, and she is most excited for meeting the kids and creating her own little family.

She is from Alabama and attends the University of Alabama, where she majors in Multiple Abilities Program, a special elementary education program. Caroline is so excited to work in Arts and Crafts and gain more experience with children.

She will be attending Indiana University this fall, hoping to major in management. Frankie can’t wait to eat pounds and pounds of grilled cheese, and she hopes to spread a bunch of enthusiasm and happiness to all of her campers.

Daria is excited to have her own campers, as she always looked up to hers when she was younger, and she hopes to gain more independence throughout the summer.

She is from Houston, Texas, and plans on going to the University of Maryland to major in Criminology and Criminal Justice. Eve hopes to ensure that her campers have an amazing summer and learn more about themselves in the process.

She will be going to Northwestern this fall, and she loves making a warm brisket and singing during song sessions. She can’t wait to make more friends this summer, and she really hopes to learn how to use a fork properly during her time at camp.

He is from St Louis and will be attending Missouri State University in the fall, and he loves to play volleyball and basketball. Sam’s favorite thing about Sabra is how nice all the people are, and he can’t wait for Maccabia and to build on his communication skills and live independently.

​Gavin Roth is an Irish twin (siblings less than a year apart), and he can't wait to be back at Camp Sabra for the 9th time! He is from Houston, Texas and will be attending the University of Michigan in the fall to major in Business. Gavin absolutely loves the sail dock, specifically stand-up paddle boarding, and he hopes to make new memories with his campers and try new things.

Cousin of the famous WWE Wrestler Ricky Ortiz, Jacob Resnick has been attending overnight summer camps for the past 10 years, but is at Camp Sabra for the first time! He is from Chicago and attends the University of Missouri, where he majors in business and loves to play sports and hang out with friends. So far, he loves the landsports areas, and he hopes to gain a ton of new friends and an expansion of his jewish knowledge this summer.

He is from St Louis and will be attending the University of Missouri in the fall to major in Music Education. Ethan’s favorite thing about camp is the song sessions after lunch and on Shabbat, and he can’t wait to start jamming out with the campers and learn a bunch of new things from them.

Sierra's favorite part of camp is meeting new kids every single day, and she is excited to be able to share her love for Sabra with her children this summer.

She attends the University of Louisville where she majors in Special Education, and she enjoys swimming, watching netflix, reading and hanging out with her friends. Josh Horowitz is excited to work his 2nd year on staff for his 8th summer at Camp Sabra! He goes to Ladue Horton Watkins High School in St Louis, and he plays hockey in the winters. Josh loves coming back to camp for the food and all of the nice people, and he hopes to make a lot more friends, memories and experiences while back at camp.

Geoffrey Fisher gets to snowboard every weekend at home, but he will trade in his board for a swimsuit this summer at Camp Sabra, returning for his 11th year. He lives in Salt Lake City, Utah, and he will be attending Carleton University in the fall to pursue a major in Biomedical/Mechanical Engineering. Geoffrey’s favorite part about Sabra is having fun with the campers and his fellow staff members, and he is so excited to make new friends.

An expert on random practical knowledge and skills, Max Deutsch is ready to put those skills to the test in his 9th year at Camp Sabra! He is from St Louis and attends Ladue Horton Watkins High School, where he is very involved in BBYO, wood working and spending time on the lake. Max hopes to gain effective communication and leadership skills during his summer at Sabra.

She is from St Louis and currently attends Tulane University, where she majors in Political Science. Brittany is pumped for the river trips and a summer of great memories, but even better friends.

She attends the University of Lincoln in England, where she majors in English Lit and Drama, and she loves singing and doing drama activities. One of 8 siblings, a former army dog trainer in the K-9 bomb sniffing squad and the son of a former camp counselor, Daniel Michelson has made it to Rocky Mount for his very first summer at Camp Sabra! He is from Israel, where he loves to hike, travel and snowboard. Daniel loves camp because of the opportunity to meet new friends from all over, and he can’t wait to make an impact and teach his campers new and valuable things.

Joshua Rudman, known by many of his campers as “Gramps,” is back at Camp Sabra for his 6th year, and is Younger Habonim’s Assistant Unit Head! He is from St Louis, and attends the University of Missouri, majoring in Animal Sciences and minoring in Capture Wild Animal Management, as well as religion. Josh has always enjoyed everything that camp has to offer, and he is most excited to make new amazing relationships with everyone around him.

Anthony Zuanich has been coming to Camp Sabra for 5 years, and can’t wait to make friendship bracelets, as well as receive them back! He will be attending the University of Kansas this fall, and he loves to be organized, as he constantly cleans his friends rooms and does whatever he can do to stay neat. Anthony can’t wait to have a blast with his campers and become friends with so many unique individuals.

He is from Israel and attended Nesher Comp High School, where he studied Social Science and loves to hike, play basketball and the guitar. Jared Steinhart loves to go crazy and have a good time, and can’t wait to do the same for the 10th time at Camp Sabra this summer. He is from Dallas, and will be a sophomore at Michigan majoring in Business. Jared loves Chef Bob’s Sweet n’ Sour Chicken Balls at camp, and he can’t wait to get to know his kids and learn some hip lingo.

Andrew Berger, a music fanatic if there ever was one, is back at Camp Sabra for his 9th summer. He lives in Houston, but will be attending the University of Missouri in the fall to study Finance. Andrew loves landsports and wakeboarding on the peninsula, and he wants to form relationships with his campers, as well as make sure they had an experience as good or better than his camper experience.

Morgan Brody is returning for her 3rd summer at Camp Sabra as a staff member, and she loves to play lacrosse and watch Netflix. She is from St Louis, and attends the University of Georgia majoring in Political Science. Her favorite thing about Camp Sabra is being outside with nature, and she is most excited about star gazing and making a bunch of new friends!

Ashley loves everything about the lake, and she is most excited to give her campers as great of an experience that she had when she was a camper.

She loves to bike, read, hike and travel, and is a huge fan of wakeboarding and Hab World Series at camp. After finishing her service in the Israeli Defense Force, Zohar Feuer is coming to Camp Sabra for the first time! She is from Israel and attended Makif Yehud High School, majoring in Biotechnology and Robotics, and enjoys reading, playing guitar, painting and making jewelry. So far, Zohar’s favorite thing about camp is the views she sees every night, and she can’t wait to meet new people and have a lot of good experiences this summer.

She attended the University of Exeter in Southwest England, majoring in Drama, and she loves to do yoga, play music and sing. He is from Memphis, and attends Johnson and Wales University in Denver, where he majors in Business Administration. Sam’s favorite thing about Camp Sabra is that it’s a fun place where you can be yourself, and can’t wait for the river trip and the opportunity to build strong relationships with his campers and fellow staff members.

He is originally from Atlanta, but has lived in St Louis and Chicago, and attends the University of Alabama where he majors in Public Relations. Austin loves seeing all of his friends at campers every time he comes back to camp, and he is so excited to be in such a positive and upbeat environment.

Allie Edelman is overjoyed to return to Camp Sabra for her 6th summer, and is ready to take on the challenge of Masada Staff! She is from St Louis, and she is currently majoring in Hospitality Management at the University of Missouri. Allie loves Camp Sabra for all of the memories and friends she has made, and she is most excited for white water rafting in Colorado.

Patrick Pavilonis can snap his fingers without using his thumb, and he is more than excited to be returning for his third year at Sabra as a part of Masada Staff. He is from Chicago and studies Education at the University of Illinois. He loves to wakeboard and dance in the dining hall, and his favorite thing about camp is being surrounded by people he loves and the beautiful outdoors. Patrick can’t wait to go to Colorado and teach his kids how to do cool stuff in cool places.

Rachel Poulin’s spirit animal is the tuna fish, and loves to doodle, hike, and dance. She is returning for her 11th year at Camp Sabra as Masada Staff, and just graduated from Arizona State University with a degree in Business Marketing and Entrepreneurship. Her favorite thing about Sabra is the lifelong friendships, and she is excited to go to Colorado and make more friends, memories, and go on many adventures.

Eli Steinberg is back for his 2nd summer in a row on Masada Staff and his 10th summer overall on the peninsula! He just graduated from Warren Wilson College in Asheville, North Carolina with a degree in Cultural Anthropology. Eli’s favorite thing about Sabra is having the ability to be himself, and he thinks Masada is the most amazing program of all time and hopes to make as many memories as possible this time around.
