Jayme Oberman is excited to spend her 10 summer at Camp Sabra for a few weeks before she heads off to New Zealand! She is from St Louis, and attends the University of Minnesota, where she majors in English Literature and minors in Cinema-Media Culture. Jayme’s favorite thing about Sabra is the loving community, and she can’t wait to get to know her campers and have a good time.

A lover of watermelon and the outdoors, Julia Brodkey is overjoyed to return to Sabra for hr 9th summer! She is from Omaha and attends Westside High School, where she is a member of the show choir and loves to spend time with her friends. Julia’s favorite thing about Camp Sabra is literally everything, and she hopes to gain responsibility and to help her campers have the best summer ever.

A big fan of sushi and dance, Carsyn Schneider is ready to return to camp for her 7th summer! She is from St Louis and attends Marquette High School, where she participates in tennis and loves to spend time with her friends, family and dogs. Carsyn absolutely loves all of the amazing friends she has made at Sabra, and is ready to make campers happy and to meet a bunch of new people.

After a brief five-year hiatus, Ashley Kalisher is returning to Camp Sabra for her 6th summer. She is from Dallas, and attends the University of Texas at Austin where she studies Marketing. Ashley loves everything about the lake, and she is most excited to give her campers as great of an experience that she had when she was a camper.

Leah Chelist is excited to return to Camp Sabra for her 3rd summer in a row as a staff member. She is from St Louis and attends the University of Kansas, where she majors in Secondary History and Government Education. Leah absolutely loves the camp song sessions and evening programs, and she can’t wait to gain leadership skills as well as teach her campers a thing or two.

Kara Eisenstat is the proud owner of three little ducks, and she can’t wait to take responsibility for a bunch of little girls this summer at Camp Sabra for her 8th year! She is from Dallas, and she attends Parish Episcopal School during the school year. Kara’s favorite thing about camp is the endless memories she has created, and she hopes to gain a strong community bond this summer.

Juliet Mahony is so excited to be staff for her very first time as she returns for her 10th summer at Camp Sabra. She currently goes to John Burroughs High School in St Louis, and she loves dancing and karaoke. Juliet’s favorite thing about camp sabra is having dance parties in the dining hall, and she hopes to gain at least a hundred new friends this summer.

​Suzy Myers loves to sing, hang with her friends, eat and shop, and she also loves Camp Sabra, returning for her 9th summer! She is from St Louis, just graduated from Parkway Central and will be attending Bradley University in the fall. Suzy loves camp because she is surrounded by friends, and she hopes to learn more about patience and leadership, which will help her in college.

Jetlyn Toledo will be returning to the peninsula for her 6th summer, and she can’t wait to see all of her friends and make new memories. She will be a senior at the Episcopal School of Dallas, she participates in cheerleading and plays sports in her free time. Jetlyn can’t wait to gain lots of work experience as well as teach her kids new skills they can use in their everyday life.

Sydney Hahn claims to know every lyric to every single Justin Bieber song, and she can’t wait to get started in her very first year at Sabra! She is from Denver, Colorado, and goes to the University of Missouri where she majors in Journalism and loves to hang out with friends and explore new restaurants and the outdoors. Sydney loves the outdoor activities here, and she is most excited to meet and lead all of her kids and gain a new understanding about jewish culture.

Elissa Bamberger loves to hike and rock climb, as well as play rugby for her school, and is ready to return to Camp Sabra for her 2nd summer. She attends Lake Forest College, where she majors in Environmental Studies and History, and she loves to go on adventures on the peninsula. Elissa hopes to gain a close connection with her campers and become someone that they can look up to.

Daria Rosenbluth is another identical twin on the peninsula, a vegetarian and dog lover, and is spending her very first summer at Camp Sabra! She is from Missouri and attends the Fulton School, and loves to relax, run, and watch the Real Housewives in her free time. Daria is excited to have her own campers, as she always looked up to hers when she was younger, and she hopes to gain more independence throughout the summer.

Hannah Caplan has never lost a game of Yahtzee in her life, and she hopes to show off her board game skills during her 9th summer at camp. She will be going to Northwestern this fall, and she loves making a warm brisket and singing during song sessions. She can’t wait to make more friends this summer, and she really hopes to learn how to use a fork properly during her time at camp.

An avid snow globe collector and lover of travel, Jordyn Johnson is more than excited to spend her very first summer at Camp Sabra! She attends the University of Louisville where she majors in Special Education, and she enjoys swimming, watching netflix, reading and hanging out with her friends. Jordyn is happy with how welcoming everyone is at Camp Sabra, and she is most excited to get to know the children, have a great time with them, and gain some self-confidence in the process.

Shaili Cukierman loves to travel all over the world, and her travels have finally landed here at Camp Sabra! She is from Austin, Texas, and attends Anderson High School. Shaili loves that camp is on the lake, and she is super excited to meet her campers and form relationships with them. She hopes to bond with her co’s, and guide the children to give them have a wonderful time.

A competitive figure skater for 9 years, Melissa Kovach can’t wait to get started in her very first year at Camp Sabra. She is from California and attends Texas A&M - Commerce, where she is an Education Major. Melissa loves the atmosphere of outgoing individuals and the cheers, and she can’t wait to meet friends and bond with her campers, as well as make many amazing memories.

Talya Cohen can play 5 instruments, she’s been to more countries than she has been to different states in the US, and is pumped to return to Camp Sabra for her 3rd summer. She goes to the University of Missouri, where she is a journalism major. Talya’s favorite part about camp is all of the people, kids and staff alike, and she’s most excited to work at the ski dock!

Excited to try her first year on staff, Kacey Cohen is back at Camp Sabra for her 8th summer overall! She is from Dallas, where she attends Parish Episcopal School and plays lacrosse while spending time with friends and family. Kacey keeps coming back to Sabra for the family feel that each session brings, and she hopes that she can have an amazing chaco tan and make new memories.

Sydney Lefton is a professional Camp Sabra dancer, and she’s excited to show off her enthusiasm and positivity as the Assistant Sharone Unit Head! She is from St Louis, and goes to school at Tulane majoring in Psychology and Early Childhood Education. Sydney’s favorite thing about Camp Sabra is spending time with her friends and campers, and she can’t wait to gain more leadership experience and a lot of new friends.

Ayelet Yogev can count to 10 in seven different languages, and is more than excited to come to Camp Sabra for the very first time! Ayelet is from Israel, and attended Technion Institute of Technology in Haifa where she studied Electrical Engineering. Her favorite thing about camp is the beautiful landscapes and views, and she is most excited for meeting the kids and creating her own little family.

Jackie Bodzy is overjoyed to be back at Camp Sabra for her 4th summer! She is from Dallas, and attends JJ Pearce High School, where she loves to play soccer, swim, and hang out with her friends. Jackie’s favorite thing about camp is meeting new people, and she can’t wait to give her campers great memories and an absolute blast for an entire month.
