This week, Younger Habonim Cabin G-17 made their own blog posts and drawings! They were asked to either write or draw about their own Sabra experiences, and this is what they came up with. Check out a few of the blogs and art here!
"Hi, my name is Amanda and this is #MySabraStory. I started coming to camp Sabra in 2012 for my Older Sharone year. Since I live in Texas, I did not know anyone here at camp, and I was very nervous about making new friends. However, I soon discovered that my worries were foolish. My cabin mates welcomed me with open arms and smiling faces, and I couldn't imagine my camp experience without them. Throughout the years, I kept the same cabin mates, but each year we welcomed new girls into our family. Now, the girls who I have come to think of as sisters, will always be in my heart and soul, and I always count down the days to when I get to see them again." -Amanda
"Hi, I'm Hannah G. and this is #MySabraStory. This is my first year at Sabra and it is a blast. The fun started on the river trip. We took a bus there and we got on the rafts. The water was really cold and refreshing. We stop about every 30 minutes. We went to different rivers and campsites every day. After the river, we got to the campsite and all talked in circles. Then one day, I got to swim in a cave. It was so cold! Everyday it repeated, but it was fun. This is #MySabraStory." -Hannah
